Of coarse we use additional equipment (tripods, pro mics and headphones (to monitor the audio).  This is the perfect camera for Hawaii weddings.  With built in N/D filters (2)  for bright lighting and exceptional picture quality even in low light situations (just after sunset).

     I  can't believe what Sony has done with this camera.   Video is driven by technology.  The HAD CCD's used in this camera deliver more clarity and life like color than cameras costing $50,000 just a few years ago - all in such a small package.  Also the audio from off camera mic's is ajustable via manual control.

     In the last 3 weeks since I bought this camera we have made the best Hawaii Wedding Video's to date (10 years in video). 

     Also we added Colel Draw 10 ($500.00) for Wedding Video Cassette and Protective Cover Labels. 

One feature that is so imortant in Hawaii is the 2 built in Neutral Density filters. Combining bright ocean shots with garden settings or indoor shots is easy to do correctly with just a switch on this camera. Most video cameras you would have to stop and screw on a ND filter between shots. Many videographers just ignore this resulting in washed out looking ocean or sunset shots.

This new camera even reminds the photographer when a scene is too bright and should activate one of 2 ND filters for the best result. Most locations this would not be important - but in Hawaii it's critical.
